Captain Slow    Registered Member #3 Joined: Fri Dec 19 2003Location: Scotland Posts: 3898 | From Novaworld's Forum In an effort to prevent pirating of our Land Warrior and Task Force Dagger games, we have removed the Bypass Login from the login screen. You will now be required to create a Novaworld account using the valid CD key that was provided when you purchased the game. Anyone posting on the forum any method of how to circumvent the login will be in violation of our EULA and TOS and their accounts will be suspended immediately. If you have the pinger for LW or TFD you will need to uninstall it, as the pinger changes your startup.html file if you dont have a copy of the original you will need to reinstall your game or talk to someone who has an original file. You cant have some characters in your name anymore, which means we will probably be busy updating names in our stats, all those who want your names updated please login and play a game on our servers first then post in our stats forum section with your old and new name. Any questions please reply to this post.    | ||

I only purchesed TFD after I played a copy I procured for free. I'm all for paying for a game I like but I should not have to pay to try the game out. I did not buy DFX untill last week as the demo is no good, I was talked into it by players on VT. They should make a way that you can try the games for a week with all the extras, then you will know if you want to spend hard earned cash on there games. If you want to play for free Americas Army is paid for by the defence department in the US, so all US tax payers are giving the rest of the world a free game. We should be able to download a no CD patch, if the game publishers put a CD check on. So there is no need to have a big pile of disks to play all the games we play. | ||
